Enrty Final: From Acorns Oak trees grow

I nominate the most important inventor in our history,

Robert Hutchings Goddard (October 5, 1882 – August 10, 1945

(Tag:From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

U.S. professor and scientist, was a pioneer of controlled,liquid-fueled rocketry. He launched the world's first liquid-fueled rocket

The first, Patent No. 1,102,653, issued July 7, 1914, described a multi-stage rocket. The second, Patent No. 1,103,503, issued July 14, 1914, described a rocket fueled with gasoline and liquid nitrous oxide. The two patents would become important milestones in the history of rocketry.)

For a man who received little recognition during his own lifetime,

one can only wonder what he would have said had he viewed our Earth from space and seen it in all its glory like a jewel floating in our majestic universe, would he have dreamt that one day we would travel beyond our galaxy to explore other worlds in our quest to understand the true meaning of life and our place in it.

Robert Goddard's invention has taken us on a journey that is the most important voyage for mankind, what can compare to such a journey that makes it possible for us to continue to create new inventions to reach our goals, what more inspiration do we need than that of a great inventors who lead the way for others to follow.

From acorns oak tree's grow and from great minds dreams become a reality, that one day we shall all share.
